Shortly after posting the picture of Pepper, I got the email I have been awaiting! Pepper is going to be arriving Sunday! I am so excited! Now, how am I supposed to sleep or think about anything else until late Sunday night?? Lol

I'm glad you know when she's arriving now.

The worst is the pacing at the airport knowing the plane landed and they are holding her somewhere before bringing her to where you can pick her up. That was awful!

You will have to stay as busy as can be. clean out closets and drawers, garage or other places like this so time will pass faster. Oh, watch some movies and play electronic games. We are so excited with you.

Yep, the day before I had the cage arrive. So I was busy washing that, and assembling it and putting in toys and perches. But, I know you've done that already. Cleaning closets would be a good idea! I sure need to go through mine and get rid of things I don't need anymore.

It's so exciting! I found out late last night (I'm always up late), I took a benadryl to knock myself out so I would sleep! LOL. Today I work, so that will pass time. My coworkers will just have to listen to me babble on and on. Tomorrow we don't have to leave here until 7 or 8pm, her flight doesn't arrive until 11pm at an airport 2 1/2 hours from here. I figure I can do some housework, (need to anyway to get ready for Super Bowl), clean River's cage, go over Pepper's cage with the steamer, maybe make some birdie toys.

I've still got a long wait. Her flight doesn't get in until 11pm. With coming from the other side of the country, plus a 3 hour time difference, it's a looooong day for me!

Her flight should be leaving California in 6 minutes!! (not that I'm counting the minutes or anything like that.....)

ugh.... now I have an instant worry headache thinking about her in the cargo area of an airplane.

Just now leaving for the 2 1/2 trip to the airport. It was nice out all day, then just snowed like crazy the past hour. It seems to have stopped now, I sure hope it stays stopped!

I hate traveling when roads are like that.I was scared when we first got Pearl.I was afraid that it would be just my luck to get a little monster after she got settled in.It turned out great but she's hyperGood luck and careful!
