has anyone ever seen the movie "Paulie"?

it's a 90's movie that follows the story of a blue capped conure who was separated from his human and he spends the rest of the movie looking for her. it's sooo cute and so good. I haven't seen it in years and I saw it today, it made me cry! probably because I have a conure now lol. it's such an adorable story, and they just put it on netflix so if you have some free time i'd totally recommend it

definitely!! same here. it's really neat being a bird owner and watching it because of all the extra things we notice/pay attention to that a non-bird owner probably wouldn't.

I bought my own DVD copy!

My only worry is that novices will see the movie and have unrealistic expectations.
But I still love it. There are at LEAST four scenes that make me cry every time!
*Paulie is driven away from little Marie
*"The cat gets Ivy"
*Paulie befriends Misha in the basement
*Grown Marie sings to Paulie to prove she is "still Marie"
