Has anyone ever seen a coarse sandpaper perch that slide on top of a flatscreen monitor?

Hi - I'm about to try making a slide on perch for my 23 inch gaming flatscreen monitor. Just wondering if anyone has seen one for sale. My little "tennis ball with wings" (33 y/o Meyer's Parrot) loves to sit on top of my screen

I would use fabric, cardboard, or vet wrap. You can probably cut these materials to size yourself. Sandpaper is too abrasive for birds and causes bumblefoot and other issues.

Why not use a piece of pipe insulation? It made out of the stuff that pool noodles are and has a precut slit down one side and a hollow center where a one inch or so diameter water pipe fits. Cut it to the length of your flat screen, stretch it open, and put it on the top edge of the flat screen monitor. It would be soft on his feet, removable, easy to clean and cheap. You can buy it at Lowes or Home Depot.

I don't have a sandpaper perch, but what I do have is a little platform with a perch on it (like this one). My husband got it on Etsy. The leg was a little too flexible, so we had to glue it in place, but I bet it wouldn't be hard to rig up something similar. I like that the platform can catch things to keep Nuggs from crapping all over the back of my monitor.
