Happy or unhappy?

What kind of bird is that? A ringneck?
Someone with more experience with them might be able to give a better answer but if i were to guess I'd say the bird is happy

Going by body language he/she does not look upset or in destress.

I would go with happy.

Silent birds are possible sick Parrots where a lunging Parrot is commonly unhappy. This gal /guy sounds like a very happy Parrot!
