You have a awesome birthday present on it's way
Yesterday we did some birthday shopping, hubby made dinner for me, but the kid was being a ferocious teething monster all day so kinda put a damper on my birthday plans...but having baby coming home today makes up for it- I'm SO excited!!
Happy Birthday! Hope you've recovered from the aftermath and now settling in with baby ???? It's my birthday today. Sigh. Trust me to pick a fabbo date like 9/11 to be born on.
Hey Shirre! I'm *so* excited for you with this gorgeous baby! Isn't s/he just the softest, fluffiest little thing you've ever seen? You're going to be having so much fun in the next few weeks - and well deserved too!
We had a family dinner at the local pub for Ell's and my birthdays. She had fettucine and I had chicken with avocado and dijon sauce. O yum! It was great! Tonight, we're having ordinary dinner followed by the dessert we would have had at the pub, but we were all too full: Mississippi Baked Cheesecake. Hubby is out lassooing it as we speak.
For my birthday, I received a wooden picture frame shaped like an owl (I collect them) and a handy-dandy little cordless drill/screwdriver for making birdie toys. Happiness! Ellie is very glad you chose to have a little Galah: she reckons they have more personality than other birds (don't tell the Beaks I said that...)
