Happy bird? (I hope!)

Fidget has been making a chattering sort of noise a lot lately. He will do it when he's hungry and waiting for his food to cook and he will do it while he's sitting on my arm, seemingly content. Other times he will do it while staring me down to come pick him up. He is doing it more and more and I'm just really curious as to what it means. (I just reread the whole body language thread but didn't find it.)

i think it is all happy chatter i get a lot of it out of Lily, so i chatter back in her chatter and it goes back and forth. there is a boop sound she like to do, at a couple different tones.
but if she see's me in the kitchen it's what ya doing. so i explain to her what im up to and she pays attn kind of cool to tell em what your doing. when i sit down at the desk she will say it,and i pop up a golf game so i tell her just in 2 words playing golf. now i have heard her working on playing golf so i wanna see if she will put it together when i sit down at the desk sometime.

sounds to me like you have a happy bird, and they all chat it up when they know the food is being preped, or your dinner they are quite good at wanting your's to.lol.

Chattering is usually a happy noise! And Fidget looks all fluffed up and content on your arm so I'd say he looks happy!

yeah happy, senseless chatter means you need to chatter back, I have tons of nonsensical conversations with clark, but he feels we are really getting things accomplished!

Well, that was supposed to be a video, not sure why its not working.

Glad to hear its a happy chatter! Hes generally happy and content but he was seeming to do it more and more often these days. I do talk back to him all the time so hes used to that, but maybe I will try and improve my chatter and we can have a chatter fest! :)

Thanks

the more you talk the better the bond.....what will really rock your world is when he starts replying back in human....

We talk constantly! Hes gotten to be a good talker and is usually quite responsive. We have a good bond, Ive had him for about a year and hes two and half now. I wish I could add that video, it would make more sense.

Thank you for your reply.

Salty's loudest time is when Geris is prepping dinner. Talking, singing, and some schreeching, but we start siging to him whe he does that. Its quite the musical time in our house during prep time.
