He is a congo. I had one before and for 19 years I thought kenya was a boy. Then one night kenya was acting funny and I asked my husband to hold the bird while I looked all over to see if anything was wrong. I was crying and scared and then boom an egg was laid and I caught it! That was the beginning of my hell. Kenya laid 5 eggs and I tried to put wooden ones in, researched how to stop it. After that she had seizures and I took her to an avian vet but all the test showed nothing. We gave meds and they got worse. Three years later, she died in my arms. Its been 3 yrs since she left me. My heart is ready for another but Kenya will always have a special place......

I am happy for you :D and also sad  I know the feeling of loosing a beloved pet,be it a birdie,cat/dog/turtle or fish.
But new beginnings are at your door step!! Can't wait to see pictures of the newest member of your family! CONGRADULATIONS!
Any names picked out yet??

I am very sorry for your loss of Kenya. She will always be in your heart, and your love for her will live on in your newborn Grey.

Such an exciting time for you. Enjoy.
