No longer need a towel to get him out of the cage He is stepping up in the cage for me perfectly without attitude....for now Apparently, he was sucking up to mother when she was up one day this week. Making kissing noises at her when she was handing out food.

Not so great shots from earlier tonight! I'm going up to the shelter this Saturday for a New Years party, so I'll get some better pictures then!

So that's what was under that tough exterior... Amazing considering the way he was until just recently! You're such a natural with Macaws .

I'm definitely attached! I'm kind of finding it amusing since he is still a brat that does his best to intimidate other volunteers:54: I have been kind of spoiling him with extra walnuts. Though the last time I gave him two walnuts that I dropped in his food bowl but not anyone else. I got the looks from the other macaws that are pointedly looking at their own food bowls.....so I ended up handing out walnuts to everyone
