Hello, all! And Happy Day After Halloween!!!

I just wanted to share the Halloween madness that was my household, last night.

Note my Eclectic Duo's complete and utter lack of fear, here! They were completely unfazed by my Black Panther mask! Hahaha! I did make sure they saw me put the mask on, but I was still surprised by the absence of any reaction... or even acknowledgement... of my mask whatsoever! Hahaha!

And my Boys! Ryan, on the left, was also dressed as the Black Panther! (My Panther Cub!) And Aidan, on the right, was an otherwise stealthy ninja with inexplicably shiny reflective eyewear! (Inexplicable, yet undeniably cool. Lol!)

And finally, a Halloween smooch with my sweetheart, Aida, who was dressed as Harley Quinn!

Funny enough, despite my Eclectic Duo's complete nonchalance when it came to me in my Black Panther mask, Jolly was initially freaked out by Ryan in his Black Panther getup! "Miniature Panther-child! WTH! That's just wrong!" Poor thing took off in a blurred streak of green and candy corn! Hahahaha! (My children explained that this was obviously because Ryan was the more dangerous Black Panther, and that I just wasn't scary at all. Sigh...) Once I showed Jolly Ryan's face under the mask he was fine, though. ROTFL!

Wow, y'all look amazing! Great costumes on everyone, and Aida looks gorgeous as always:) The boys look absolutely adorable, and I love the shiny eyewear on Aidan (and his pose!) Ryan looks like a Mini-Stephen, I love it! Speaking of which, look at those muscles on that masked man!
I can't believe Jolly and Maya weren't scared by that mask! I can't even dye my hair a shade different without everyone having a meltdown..lol.

Did the boys have fun trick or treating?

Great costumes! Love the utter lack of concern/interest on Maya and Jolly's faces. So funny what they will and won't react too.

Happy Halloween, indeed! Adorable costumes! I'm truly shocked by Jolly and Maya's lack of reaction, by next year they will demand costumes of their own!

Wonderful costuming, Stephen! Trick or Treating is always more fun with a dynamic costume.

Frankly, I am not surprised by Maya and Jolly's nonchalance. Ekkies are by far the most stoic - at times - parrot and the least likely of my flock to freak out. You prepared them well by donning the mask in their presence; they probably just thought their parronts had gone bonkers!

Great pictures, it's wonderful to see everyone getting involved! I can't believe the duo didn't even react to your 'new look'! :D Aidans ninja looks very authentic with all the proper stances, and his eyewear is very cool - reminds me of a much cooler version of Bret Hitman Heart shades in the 90s! Ryan looks like a little stoic power house in both pics! Also loving the classic leg lift of Aida in the last pic - Very cute!

Thanks, everyone! The boys had so much fun that the feeling was contagious! First Halloween I've enjoyed so much in years. Lol!

Terr- I get the feeling they didn't flip out about the mask because they saw the transformation happen. Perhaps if your bird could actually witness the dyeing process? (Hahaha! I know, fat chance of that!)

And yes, the boys lost their minds trick-or-treating! Their haul was quite impressive! (Though they'll only be eating the merest fraction of it. Lol!)

April- I found Jolly's nonchalance particularly amusing, considering that he once held a grudge against my niece for nearly an entire year when she dared to paint her fingernails an assortment of wild colors! (And this is even after she'd gone back to her regular clear nails! Hahaha!)

Steven- I was digging the cat vibe going on, myself. Lol!

Allee- I WISH! If only my ekkies would pull a Poppy and cooperate with putting on costumes! Unfortunately, they'd be more likely to turn any such little costumes into confetti in painfully short order.

Scott- Funny enough, while none of the eclectus I've had has ever been easily freaked out, neither was the cockatiel I had... though they are generally considered more easily spooked than others. Suzie generally took everything in stride.

Violet_Diva- I love your Brett the Hitman Hart reference! Haven't heard that name in years! Lol! Ryan as a "little stoic power house" also cracked me up.

Katie- It was all every bit as much fun as it looked!

Great pics Steve! Funny about Jolly's reaction at first to the scarier one of you two Black Panthers! :D

Hahah, I love it!!!

There is a lot of trust there for them both to be unfazed by all these masks and costumes, i think it shows how good a parront you are.

The perfect crime fighting team. I mean let's face it if your a criminal and your faced by a group of masked vigilantes, and one has two parrots on his shoulders, you are going to be thinking what the heck are those parrots going to do to me if I don't cooperate...lol.

Great pics Stephen, great to see your scary Halloween family and of course Jolly and Maya.

Thank you, Lady Jules (AKA Lil' Surfer Girl)! Yes, Ryan took Jolly's reaction as a badge of honor. Hahahahaha! Obviously he was doing Black Panther right! Gotta love him!

Thank you, Cameron! I appreciate that!

ROTFL! Good point about the Parrot Vigilantes! And while Jolly wouldn't exactly live up to such fearsome hype (he loves everyone!), I'm sure stories of Maya's avenging beak would more than make up for it!

Great pics Stephen, great to see your scary Halloween family and of course Jolly and Maya.

Thank you, K! It was great sharing our Halloween madness with you all... our extended family!

CRAP! I can't see the pics! "bucket says they are down for maintenance
