Glorie passed today with no warning. I'm absolutely destroyed. She was my closest companion besides my husband and son.

OMG, that is sad news, you can see how much that 'tiel loved you. When I get back Glorie gets a special donation to Cornell Univ. Vet college in her name. Its one thing when our parrots are sick and you can understand why they pass on, its quite another when they just... move on. Its happened to me once and it is pretty horrible. I def knw how you feel. My little Maxie just...... moved on one night.

Nohea has been calling for her. I couldn't listen to her anymore, it was breaking my heart all over again. I'm distracting her with seeds. And looking for a vet online.

To make it worse Flick, my gcc that lives with my sister (Flick betrayed me and lives with Ellene by her own choice), spent last night under observation at the vet as well. Waiting on a call from the vet I'm South Dakota.

Flick is home and apparently not in mortal danger. She is a bit thin and lacking adequate healthy bacteria in her gut. She is now of probiotics.
