was cleaning out the birds today and i found one of archies clipped flight feathers! hopefully this is the start of his moult & he'l be on his way 2 flying again soon :D yipppeeeeeeeeeeeee

Woot! Our Maxi-Max's personality changed so much when he started flying again. It was the best thing did was let him fly again. He didn't let us pet him before and now he cuddles and snuggles up.

Granted there are times that we wish he was still clipped - like bedtime - but I really think he's lots happier now.

I am going to let Rosie fly again after a molt. I do think it makes for an all around happier and healthier bird. Now I know lots of others will not agree with this but as we know it is a personal decision.

Not always safer....but definitely happier!
