Guardian crying at the vet today - Mishka

I took Mishka to the vet today to have his wings clipped and nails trimmed.

There were about 7 guardians sitting with their birds waiting to be seen.

The topic of Mandela came up, everyone was chatting about his life. Often mentioning his other name "Tata"

The lady sitting next to me mentioned that her15 years old son was diagnosed with brain cancer 3 years ago. Her sons dying wish was to meet Mandela.
It was arranged and Mandela went to their house to meet the son.
Her son said it was the highlight of his life. Shortly after that her son died.
She showed us the picture of her son with Mandela, it was a sad happy moment.

Out of the blue Mishka says "Oh shame mommy Tata is gone" and then makes his crying sound.

There was total silence, they were just staring at Mishka not believing what he had just said.

The lady said to me what did you bird just say?

I asked Mishka "Where is Tata?"

Mishka replied "Tata is gone to sleep mommy" and made the crying sound again.

The young lady began crying, saying "Tata even touched our beloved pets hearts"

She said she will never ever forget this moment till her dying day.

I too had tears when Mishka said it, and even more when she showed us the picture of her son and Mandela

I swear Mishka is more human than bird.

There have been many many times when he says the appropriate thing at exactly the right time.

For instance this morning Steven asked Mishka is he was going to be a good boy today. Mishka replied "Of course I am not stupid you know".

We were flabbergasted by his reply.
