Hello, I am Rob - Sol's dad. She is about 2 years old, and wicked smart! She's not my first bird, but we just adopted her yesterday. She is just as wicked smart as she is pretty! So I am here gathering as much information as I can, trying to stay a few steps ahead of her. Which is tough!
I can't say I intended to get a conure when I went looking to adopt, but we just happened upon each other and we seemed to click right away. So I guess it was just meant to be.
We are just now spending our second day with each other, and she is already quite attached and cuddly. Although I could tell she liked me right away, I am still a bit taken back by how quickly she latched on to me. We have 4 people in our household, but she wants to be near me. Like I said, I guess it was meant to be.
Anyway, thought I'd say hello. I'll post up some questions as they arise. Thanks in advance to everyone for all the great info here.
