Green cheeks with other birds?(smaller birds)

How are green cheeks with smaller birds? Do i have to be as worried about them with my budgie as i would have to with a sennie?

I definitely wouldn't trust any conure with a budgie. They have considerably larger beaks and can be very feisty. All it would take is a split second for something very bad to happen...

No, conures can't be put with anything but other conures.
I have 6 green cheeks and only one of them gets along with my budgies, the other ones would kill my budgies if the budgies couldn't fly away!

When I was birdistting 6 budgies, my green cheek had a fun time messing with the parakeets through the bars of their cage. he would nibble at their feet then they would nibble at his feet and "play". Whenever he heard them talking he would fly to their cage and mess/play with them.

One time though, he managed to get into their cage and it was all fun and games until he started engaging in foul play. The cops ended up coming and he got a misdemeanor for battery against a pedestrian and he ended up spending a day behind the bars.. Just kidding

The thing is you never know what could happen and its best to be safe than sorry

I disagree 100% I have 2 conures here, and BOTH get along very very well with my cockatiels, lovebirds, and my past Senegal...with absolutely no issues.

now I would not recommend a conure with a budgie, but it really depends on the birds itself, and training.

My sisters GCC would spend hours preening and playing with the lovebirds she was always so gentle and good with them, but every bird is different theres no way to say for sure how yours will be around smaller or any other bird for that matter.

My GCC will not tolerate budgies. I don't know about larger birds.

Well it's pretty obvious just from this thread that each bird is different my GCC gets along well with my 2 budgies. I guess the only way to know is to find out.
