This poem is to honor my sweet Paris. She's the kindest sweetest little bird in the world and sadly because she is so quiet and obedient she sometimes gets ignored. She is not a loud, strong, by the book flock leader like Ollie who demands things and tells me how to own a bird correctly and she is not a renegade problem child who takes hours and hours of special attention a day like Finley but she is amazing and wonderful just the same and I love her with all my heart and she truly makes having a 3rd bird so easy on me. This is for you tiny girl...

Green cheeks are so happy and quiet.
My little Paris is this sweet tiny excited girl.
All she wants is me to see her and love her.
Green cheeks are so easy and quiet.
My little Paris is often forgotten and is last to catch Mommy's eye.
All she wants is me to see her and love her.
Green cheeks are so forgiving and quiet.
My little Paris is a cuddle bug.
All she wants is me to see her and love her.
Paris I see you and I love you.
Tonight, you're the only bird in the whole world.

Paris is such a good girl, she took no time at all settling in to the swing of things

It's funny how different their personalities can be. She does look like a sweetheart and I bet she realizes her 'brothers' require a lot more supervision!

Ollie the leader of the group, informing the others the rules they need to follow, Paris the good girl who just wants to impress everyone and make them happy, and Finley the 'wild child' who loves nothing more than to stir things up!

Thanks everyone! She really is a wonderful little birdie. Her brothers are such strong personalities it's hard sometimes for her to get the attention I know she wants but I do my best.

Awww Desi...such a sweet,from-the-heart poem! :) Yes indeed it looks like Paris is fitting in just fine. Maybe in the years to follow, some of her sweetness and style will rub off on you're two other trouble makin',aggrevating, clownish, awesome babies as well! :D

I adore the picture btw :p

A beautiful poem for a beautiful bird.
It's amazing how diverse personalities are in animals, especially parrots. They really are like small, feathered people.
