Green cheek sleep

So as most of you know i will be getting my conure in about 1 week/2 weeks
I have a question about sleeping and sleep cages.
My brothers will be coming home from college on holidays. I have a small sleep cage that I could put in my room but I turn the lights out at 9:30 (get in bed at about 8:30) and wake up at 6. Would this be a good sleeping arrangement for my bird when my brothers are home??
Id do this cuz my brothers always stay up late and they would probs keep my birds away.
So should I do this or just leave my bird in the cage with it covered???

Sounds OK. We brought our GCC to my parents for Christmas this year and we would put him to bed at his regular time in our room, visit until we were ready for bed and then come in the room quietly. If I read before heading off to sleep I just used a small headlight. He would kind of move a bit when we came in the room but seemed otherwise undisturbed.

You will know soon enough if he's not getting enough sleep as he will be cranky. Then you can look into an alternative arrangement where he gets more hours of undisturbed sleep. My Parrotlet could sleep through anything whereas Charlie really needs to be in a quiet room.
