Greater Vasa Care Question

I've been considering becoming the owner of a pair of Greater Vasas for a while now but can find little advice on care. This has been holding me off.
I hope someone here will be able to help. I don't want to have Vasas if I can't make them happy.
Firstly the environment.
I have an outdoor aviary of 6m (length) and 1.8m (wide) and 2.4m (height) and an indoor aviary of appox 2.2m x 1.6m x 2.2m.
I have had these since helping out with rehoming in the past.

I would intend the Vasas to be outside during the daytime in summer but in winter they would be inside 5 days of the week.
The following situation is my main concern.
My house will generally be empty of humans (myself, wife and 2 children) between 9am - 5pm for 5 days of the week. The rest of the time the Vasas would have free range inside the house (c100m2 flying area) and use of the outside aviary. The weekends and summer evenings we would also be taking the Vasas out to the local Downs for free-flying (harnessed at first - I would be interested whether this is actually possible with Vasas).
Would the fact that the house is empty for so long during the day be a big problem to ensuring their happiness? I would aim to get a bonded pair of the same sex as young (hand raised) and hoped that as Greater Vasas can be more gregarious than other species this would facilitate their mutual happiness.
Also the indoor aviary they would be using during the day is in the corner of a room with windows on two sides. This ensures plenty of visual contact with the outside world and the comings and goings of neighbours and visitors to the house.
I would be very grateful for your expertise. I am quite willing to accept that my 9-5 work life means that I can not be a Vasa owner.

Might be worth scanning this subforum for a recent vasa parrot thread - we were talking about them a month or so ago. There's a breeder in Newark who has greater vasas, and is recommended by a friend of mine as very experienced and approachable, maybe worth checking him out?

As far as the work question goes, many of us do leave birds during the day and it's not ideal but as long as they have space, distractions by way of toys and foraging materials and they get lots of quality time when you're home they seem to cope. A pair will be less of a concern than a single bird as they have each other for company, and if I remember correctly vasas aren't particularly flock birds. I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Thank you Jayyj for your advice.
The Vasa sounds such an interesting species.
I will start looking out for a UK breeder of Lesser or Greater Vasas.
