I've seen this several times, but it is a very good program.

And you really do see how some of their natural behaviors relate to their captive behaviors.

And the other striking thing about almost all of the wild action flying scenes is macaws are almost always 2 by 2. The pair bond is just that strong.

I thought the symmetry and coordination of those pair bonded macaws was amazing.


My little guy watched the whole thing with my on my ipad, he was mesmerized and every time there was a macaw call, he answered...

thanks for sharing this documentary. even though I've seen it before i still enjoy watching it again and anyway who doesn't like a bit of david attenbourough.
