Not strictly a bird/parrot event however there was a new scetion added this year; budgerigars. I HAD to go when I saw that, along with a ride on the carousel.
This time I actually managed to colate all of the photos (that were of reasonable quality, since the subjects where animals they tended to move about and blur the shot) in to an album on flicker for easier browsing.
That album can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/148726599@N04/albums/72157699118476335
What I did not know however from the website was that the Budgerigar Society Representative for Lancashire would be there. When I saw their stand I was interested in approaching them to ask a few questions, but being my awkward self I became near silent and I completely lost my words as I attempted to not seem like a complete an utter weirdo in front of them. That failed. (Aspergers hampers my ability to perform normal social things again.)
Here are a few choice photos from the event, there are a total of 34 photos covering mostly the poultry, pigeons and budgies all in one neat album.
In my opinion the water containers for the budgies were awfully small, especially taking the heat of the day into account. Are these containers the standard size for competition cages?
There are plently of other budgie photos in the album to look at.
A slikie chicken.
A frill back pigeon.
Suffolk sheep.
My Mum admiring a traditional caravan. Lovely design and colours on this.
Feel free to browse the full album. I should consider getting myself a real camera rather than using my mobile phone.
