Granules after eating pellets?

I just started my conure on harrisons pellets (after only 2 day switch, yay!) anyways, I have noticed there is a fine dust like, granules at the bottom of her bowl.

My question is, is she actually eating the pellets or grinding them up and leaving them in the bowl? I see her eating them all the time.

Yes, thats a good sign that she is eating them. If your concerned watch her droppings. Are you feeding the coarse or the fine?

Even the small ones produce a lot of debris when they're crunched up, they break apart so easily.
