black and white budgie today...

I was at training, and we had two hours off in the middle of the day... I went to the shopping centre to have lunch, and then went to the petshop.. (what else could I do in this situation?)

I started talking to the budgies, and one of them wanted to talk to me... He was actually chasing the other suitors away...

So... many dollars later, he's now at home with me... Mostly grey with black on his wings and some whites on his head...

As you wish...

I clipped his wings, so I can tame him down easier... He has a lot of pin feathers, also his feathers are quite long...

Any suggestions for a name?

Thanks...

Gorgeous grey factor! I would love to have one but I've never seen one in person. Is it a male or a female, kind of looks like there is white on the ceres so I'm thinking a young female?

If it's a boy I think a cool name would be Vader, like darth vader lol.

I second darth vader. Is she an english budgie, her head seems very puffy.
Very cute budgie, congrats.

To be honest I don't know what he is... He was an impulse purchase... Like he was sitting in the cage and kept on asking me to buy him... lol

I actually thought he was sick, because his eyes were so small, but it turns out, it's because of his long feathers...

Also he seems to have some growth on his legs, but I think that's feathers coming in...

I was really worried about scaly face...

The picture is very true to his real colour, but you might be right that he's a young female...

I've never seen one like that before, grey factor as Icy says. Male of female it is very unique to me and quite a looker. Thank you for the pictures. I'm glad I found this forum because I am always learning something new and usually before my breakfast!

What a prety budgie!!!!! snuggles. You should name it Slate :)
