Got kobe home bout 30 mins ago stressful 2 hour ride 2 questions to start 1. He didn't wanna go in the cage wanted to stay on my fingers do I let him out or keep him in his cage for a few days 2. His first name was not kobe the rescue group thought it better to rename him to not have any bad memories should I keep the name they gave him Kobe or try his first name he had for 14 years ??? good news hes eating already yes !!!!!!Thanks Guys and Gals for you input

It is dificult to advice how to go on but try to put him in the cage for an hour or so and then see if he will come out to you. Stay neer the cage so that he can go back if he like. Regarding the name, just wait and see what happen, dont rush forward. It is a really good sign that he eat and drink. Take it easy forward the I am sure every think will turn out very well. Good luck
