So, finishing up my Friday errands, checking out at Winco. I am at the last register by the self checkouts and cashier guy is ringing me up. Look up and see across the check stand an all too familiar beady orange eye attached to a sidewards facing head staring at me:rolleyes: Some guy had a big YNA on his shoulder at Winco and it was staring right at me:11:

I didn't talk to the guy, but if I'd have got the chance I want to know how his bird was so well behaved in a grocery store. If I brought Kiwi around that much food and he wasn't allowed to sample some of everything, he'd be having a grade A meltdown:eek::p:34:

That bird knew you were a Zonny girl. They are so smart!!!!

The actions of some Amazons are just beyond my understanding!

Like this YNA, this Forum has Amy, who can visit Pet Stores and Coffee Shops with manners that are beyond belief.

As with your Kiwi, my Julio would be opening everything and tasting the same volume! Sitting nicely on my shoulder with all those 'goodies' - NO WAY! Reality: It would not be a pretty sight!

As far as being spotted by an Amazon! For Sure! They can pick-up on an Amazon Owned Human a mile away! :D

Awww April, you have an admirer, your husband will probably understand but I would never tell Kiwi about this!

They sure do seem to be able to tell who's venerable to their amazonian charm huh? Probably all took the same "how to spot a sucker" course on reading humans:rolleyes:.

Allee- I already told Kiwi. I asked him as soon as I got home why I could never be in peace. I received the same look the other amazon gave me- head turned to an unnatural angle and pulsating pupils. Sigh:52:

Haha, I know every perch in that class, "How To Spot A Sucker", was occupied!

That figures, Kiwi probably set up the meeting via internet. Watch your back, April!

Those incredible pinning eyes!

Are you sure it was a real, live Amazon you saw? Last time I took Buddy out to a store he wasn't quiet or polite, he was loud and wouldn't stop talking to EVERYONE! He's an attention pig, lol.

Buddy sure sounds like a character! He just wants to make everyone his friend:D His name is quite well suited to him, by the sounds of it.

Kiwi behaves well in most stores and rarely makes a peep while we're out, but even if he was legally allowed in a grocery store, around all that food, none of which he could eat right then and there? Forget about it. His jungle calls are far louder than a toddlers cry when it comes to throwing a massive and embarrassing tantrum:17::17::17: (which, thankfully, he hasn't yet done in public). I don't know how that man trained his zon to behave around mass amounts of food it couldn't sample.

So, Buddy is an Amazon, being an Amazon! That is an Amazon that I can understand!
