Many of you remember the recent drama of the rescue budgies we took in, and the struggles we went through trying to save them. Well I ended up keeping three of them, Trooper, Molle, and Angel. I paired Trooper and Molle up with my two other budgies i hopes they would be able to live normal, happy lives, and Angel is still waiting for a new home. Molle is quite taken with her new friend, Linus, and they are doing well but yesterday sadly we lost Trooper. He had been tested for viral diseases, but I suspect a standing Aspergillosis infection, as well as old age. He had seemed to be doing well, though I have never ever seen him perch on a stick. He always sat on the floor or clung to the bars, I suspect that in his previous, horrendously crowded environment he perhaps never learned to perch, simply because sufficient perch space was not available
