Ok I need to know if its a good idea as you know I'm getting a BFA but is it OK if I stick her with our Senegal not in the same cage just as play mates I love spending time with Georgie and she has really taken to me its just I don't want to make sky my bfa feel left out so I would rather spend time with them both what do you guys think?

Not a good idea to put them together in the beginning. Especially if they are from different continents which they are. Not easy for big beaks to be friends with little beaks. Tred carefully and watch them for a while.

Yep, couldn't agree more.

Don't see an issue with that, our Hahn's is right next to the Zon's cage, just make sure no one can reach though.

What about cage to cage so they can see one another as a start?
A cage so they can see each other would be good. But dont' think of it as a start. This of it as a cage so they can see each other but be out of each other's reach for always and ever more. There are a few odd couples around, but amazons have a reputation for being nasty toward other birds. One of the very first days I had my amazon female home, she spooked and landed on top of my quakers cage. Being the idiot territorial quaker he is, he charged at her and picked him up by the neck, shook him and threw him on the floor. It was rather traumatic, but thankfully he just had some feathers lost and was okay. That same amazon has been known to charge my much larger cockatoo and give me a nasty bite for sticking my hand in the middle of it to protect the cockatoo. It never occured to me that the amazon might need protecting. They have enough attitude and pure aggression at times to make up for lack of size. Never underestimate the level of aggression an amazon can dish out if it wants to and always keep your other pets and people safe. You are gettnig a baby and babies are almost always cute. Then they grow up and turn into real amazons. If you introduce them now, that is no guarantee that things will be great later on and a dead senegal might be your only warning.

I think I will keep them away from one another period the Senegal belongs to my man and I don't fancy having to pay for another one if my zon injures her or even kills her they will both get equil attention anyways
