Golden beets safe?

Is the golden beet bird safe, I just want to make sure before offering it. I meant to grab the regular (red) beat and accidentally grabbed the golden beet I'm assuming that since the red beet is bird safe so is gold beet but wanted to check if anyone here knows for sure. Thank you!

Assuming they are if they are definitely a beetroot? Beets contain quite high sugar levels so ensure that it is given as part of a balanced diet.
