Umbrella Cockatoo, Goffin Cockatoo
So after having KC two days.. She's sooo much moodier than my umbrella. Is this typical? She wants to be on my 24/7 which I don't mind but when she doesn't get her way she isn't happy. KC is 2 years old. My umbrella is 1 and she is the biggest baby ever.

Best to start teaching KC to play on her own! They can develop behavioral issues such as feather plucking, screaming, etc. IF you ever not pay attention or being around her ALL the time. Over stimulation can be a bad thing!!!!

I guess the people I got her from really spoiled her. Maybe she needs time to adjust. I have to put locks on her cage door, because she knows how to open her cage door and the doors to her water and feed.

I have 2 goffins and have been around all types of cockatoos including Black Palms. I think that goffins are the easiest to spoil.
My oldest is 12 and my youngest is 1. My oldest is very spoiled because she is a rescue and one of my first, I bought the other and he is being raised differently and is very independent.

That sounds pretty typical from the goffins I have known. Mine was the biggest brat, if she couldn't be on me 24/7 she would scream, throw her food, whatever she could do to get my attention. She was like a toddler throwing a tantrum, really. She would also pretend like she was going to be nice to people, lean in all sweet and raise her crest up, she would let them pet her and as soon as you could tell they weren't nervous anymore she would nail them with a wicked bite. I could tell everytime she was doing it too, and I would warn people that she was just pretending to be nice and that they would most likely get bit if they fell for her trap, most of them still didn't listen
