Ggrrrrrr!!!

Yeah, Ratzy...some people just don't get it.

I once stayed at a certain hotel in Las Vegas, and there was a long corridor between the hotel and the casino. They must have had 20 BNG's, each by itself on a wall-mounted perch along the corridor. It really ticked me off. They were treated like nothing more than a decoration for the hotel, rather than wonderful, intelligent living creatures.

My Dad reached up to one who was really giving signs of wanting down, and it immediately hopped on his arm, and proceeded to clown around and be happy...with a total stranger. A hotel security guard ran up and proceeded to scold my Dad, pointing to the signs everywhere that said "don't touch the birds." What ticks me off more is that I'm sure they were just worried about lawsuits from someone getting bitten...not about the welfare of the birds.

Sad.

The person obviously isn't a bird lover. That's now how you look for a bird!

Well we all know that's the most important part of owning a parrot. The ability to talk..

That is so heartbreaking. Because most likely in a few months to a year he will be rehoming the parrot because it wasn't 100% perfect like he wanted for it to be... ugh that is so annoying :[ I never had an expectation for Bella to talk but the day she did.. boy, I cried happy tears because it was so cute in her baby voice!

Oh how I would love to put on a bird costume, knock on his door and tell him exactly what a true parrot would say....... ;)

Yeah, we all know that if our parrot can't talk, it's not a *true* parrot! No good owner would sell him their parrot, it would end up dead or re-homed!
There was a red-tailed black cockatoo on a stand at a crocodile park in Queensland and I didn't see the signs ( *innocent whistling* ) so I gave him scritchies and he rode about on my shoulder for a few hours. He didn't bite me ( can't say the same about that poor tourist though )! He was obviously only fed sunflower seeds :(
