Kiwi- Green Cheek Conure
Is Kiwi the only conure that has late night conversations with her self? She waits until everyone in the house heads for bed and then has deep conversations. Sometimes I here her making whistles that I try to teach her, other times she just mumbles. I might note she never copies me while I am there. It doesn't seem to be a "hey lonely out here!!!" type of thing.

My crimson bellied conure, Phoe, has lots of conversations with himself. I have no idea what he is saying, but it sounds really important:)

LOL! That's so funny!
Percy sleeps like the dead when he's covered so I never hear a peep out of him at night unless he's startled. However, he does have serious discussions with certain of his toys at around mid-afternoon if he thinks one can't see/hear him LOL

My Kiwi does that too ^.^ Pillow talk I guess ^.^

Peeko used to do that when he was younger, but he's stopped now. The only noises he makes at night now are growling and saying "shhhh" when someone/something makes a noise :p

He has conversations with toys too, but only one certain toy. Its a saucer with three bells hanging off of it. He sticks his beak up inside of one of the bells and whispers to himself, sometimes saying things, sometimes just making sounds. After that, he always sticks his head in it like a hat and massages his neck with his foot. He has his little rituals just like the rest of us :p

Trixie does this every night. She whispers, "I love you," "pretty bird," and "my baby". She also does a lot of mumbling in birdie talk. It's so cute!

So precious! I love to hear birdy mumbling. When I walk past my birdies cage at night, when they are asleep, sometimes I hear "mumble mumble mumble baby bird mumble mumble." awwwww baby bird was talking in his sleep!
