GCC acts like he wants to vomit

Hi, my gcc has been acting like it wants to vomit while around me and around my other gcc. I suspect it's because of molting and possibly because it could be breeding season. The bird doesn't seem to have anything wrong. Looks very health, active, eats well, gets lots of socialization and attention everyday. If anyone has any comments, I'd love to hear them. Thanks

He is regurgitating for you or your other bird. Its a part of mating behaviour. Abit gross,but natural. Try to ignore it, and any other mating type behaviour, like butt rubbing. Avoid giving scratchesto anywhere but the head and neck. Full body scratching is a stimulant for mating behaviour, and you dont want your parrot to see you as a mate. That will end badly, as you cannot deliver the goods so to speak.

Is it attempted regurgitation or vomiting? To the untrained eye, they look very similar. Vomiting warrants an avian vet visit. Regurgitation is hormonal and can be somewhat managed through control of diet, environment, and handling.
