Hi everyone!
I'm a devoted owner and flock member to a one-year-old yellow-sided GCC named Papillon. S/he was specifically given a cute, yet gender-neutral name, as I still don't know his/her sex, and I don't think I ever will. Not that it matters - he's lovely all the same (I use 'he' to refer to Papi for the time being, because right now he strikes me as more boy than girl!).
It's pretty incredible how much Papillon has inserted himself into my life in such an amusing, adorable and often downright exhausting way, yet how rewarding it is to have encountered such a creature. I look forward to coming home to him every day and hearing his welcoming flock calls.
I am glad to be here, and after months of surfing the forum as a guest I'm happy to have finally joined. Looking forward to many meaningful discussions about our feathered children & how they add colour to our lives !
