What games can I play with my parrot if when he's inside the cage and can't go out? I need to make a strong bond between the two of us

I recommend what Hahnzel and I call "Dance Party". I pick an upbeat, usually Ska beat song and we just dance around acting like complete idiots.

You can hold a toy outside his cage with part of it going inside. Talking to him is great, and just making noises with him too... like kissing noises, clicking noise with your tongue. Parrots watch your facial expression, so always being friendly and happy will endear you to your parrot. Treat him like a person, they can feel your emotion. For example, when you have to leave the house, tell him bye-bye. Help him know that you care about him by always talking to him.

You mentioned in your other thread that he is nervous and not wanting to be with you... PLEASE don't force the issue. Give it time. You need to be slow and patient, not try to "make" him bond with you. This is a lifelong relationship and you can take as much time as your bird needs... I don't mean to sound rude, but this is not about what YOU want right now, it's about giving him the time and the environment he needs to feel comfortable with you.

I always do that but I'm the only one who acts like an idiot, he just stay immobile ! Can you recommend me songs that parrots usually enjoy? Or videos?

I also do these, he enjoys me repeating the sounds he makes but I'm not that good so the sounds I make always sound the same! and I also say byebye when I leave the room

@Chippy He's okay right now, he's letting me touch his beak and head again ! ^^

Another game you could try is follow the leader. Do whatever he does. If he tilts his head, you tilt yours. If he bobs up & down, you bob up & down. Look at him with one eye, when he does that to you. Also, laugh a lot, and imitate any sound he makes, as best as you can. And, peek-a-boo is fun for birds. Take a towel, or shirt, or some cloth, and hold it in front of you and hide behind it. Then, lower it to expose yourself, and say something like "Hello!", or "Peek-a-Boo!". And do that several times, with excitement in your voice. Simple childlike games seem to amuse parrots, same as babies.

The pick-a-boo game didn't entertain him, it kinda made wanna eat the paper I was hiding my face with ! :(

Well, musical tastes vary widely in the parrot world. Some birds like metal, some classical. For "dance party" which is really just an excuse to act silly with my bird, we usually pick Oingo Boingo, English Beat, B52's, or some other high tempo dance music. For relaxing he likes Norah Jones and the more mello Pink Floyd music. The idea behind it all is to just have fun and allow him to yell as loud as he wants and jump around. We also have repeat after me yelling times when we drive somewhere. That way he can just be himself without worrying about how the household will respond.

Can I ask how much out of cage time your baby gets each day?

all the games everyone suggested are what I do with my birds they are great! As for music every bird is different but my birds seem to like samba music the best, I have no idea what the words mean but my birds really enjoy it and will really dance to it!

For cage time, I really didn't understand but my bird stays all time in cage because he was crazy when first time out, so I plan on making a fair bond while he's in cage before getting him out.
I'll try all kind of music. He hated piano and Edith Piaf music, lol.
