Hi. this will be my second official post here. I wanted to show off our new setup for Fruli- cheeky girl. We just picked her up this weekend from a breeder in Vancouver BC. Canada. She is hand fed. 2.5 months old. We had housed a cockatoo in this cage previously so excuse me if it seems a bit large. My MIL's Cockatoo sadly passed away a few months ago and she said we could take over her cage.. Cleaned it up.. Added some hand made purches. it seems a bit emty still because in our town there doesnt seen to be many places that sell bird accessories.. so we made do..

opinions!?:rainbow1:

It's a nice large cage, but I was wondering what the bar spacing is? I would hate for your new baby to be able to get her head stuck between the bars. Also, when my parrotlet was small, he was quite clumsy and fell to the bottom of the cage a lot. It might be a good safety measure to put a soft towel or something in the bottom of the cage to give her a soft landing if she should fall:)

nice cage! Also i agree a towel on bottom is a good idea for a new little guy and try and find some natural wood perches of different textures.

bar spacing is one inch. she cant get hr head through.. my biggest worry was the cat being able to get her tail through the bars , so we weaved hemp through and tied cardboard around. seems to be working good. i will put a towel down just to be safe but so far she is really good at fluttering around the cage from branch to branch. what types of branches do u reccomend? for different textures?

One inch is really wide for a GCC... half inch to 5/8ths is generally considered the maximum...
