Today was a busy day. None of the birds got as much out time as they are used to. Levi was very noisy today, which I'm hoping is just his reaction to not getting his share of attention.

We were all up at 5 AM so I put the birds to bed a little early. Freddie's cage sits next to Levi's in the sleep room. I left the room, and could hear Freddie talking...very softly, which is unusual for Freddie. I crept back to try and hear what he was saying. He was talking to Levi in a very soft voice...Hello...What are you doing...What a pretty bird you are...Wanna go outside...The tone was the cutest thing. He sounded like a mother trying to comfort a child. Levi was silent as he listened...

Very Touching Sharon, thanks for sharing:)

That just goes to show how amazing different species can interact with each other in soooo many ways. It's alrmost as if Freddie is a parental figure for Levi.

Don't ya just wish people could act like that, and my friends ask me why I love birds so much, unconditional love unconditionaly, if the only knew:rolleyes:

EXACTLY!!! I mean, there's so much we can learn just from watching our pets, animals on tv, animals on the zoo, everywhere. They all coexsist and live peacefully. Unfortunatley, humans are the only species where not everybody coexsists, but it's who we are. Oh well.... That's why I love animals, because they don't judge or hurt(mentally, lol. Physically, of course, but their love makes up for it).
