We're (hopefully) in the first stages of fostering a CAG from a UK based company. In getting Bobby who my hubby adores. As do I. We found this rescue place through a mutual friend. And he's fallen (so has she) in love with an 8 year old female...
I don't know if the process will work in our favour but he's really got his hopes up that the home visit and our treatment (even though I'm so new at it) will go in our favour. And the bird in question was not afraid of me (where she doesn't take to many women) and was giving him kisses on the first date, lol....
I will keep you informed. But after seeing her and how wonderful she is. I would not think of buying a baby, (which we did) where there are so many wonderful birds who are desperate for a new 'forever home'.
I am so happy to be learning and be part of a family I never thought would accept me. Bobby is so wonderful. And even though his last family rehomed him because they got a baby CAG. We will not do that. We'll integrate them so they learn to accept and love each of us.
