What do you all do about providing the foraging experience for your birds? Any suggestions for toys....or homemade type fun things?

My main foraging toy is a large luffa. I wedge pieces of dried fruit in there for Fred to dig out.

His favorite is dried bananas. But he has liked almost everything as of yet(cocanut, mango, peach, ect) except apracots. He just throws those and wants nothing more to do with them.

I think Miss Annelise will be getting a loofah and a bag of dried fruit this afternoon :D

I wash out pill bottles (both my husband and my younger daughter take medication) and I put small toys, like wood balls or a plastic ring, and a treat inside. Em usually tears the lid off, but sometimes she rips out the bottom. Anyway, it keeps her busy for a while. We keep toilet paper and paper towel rolls and I put things in there and crimp the ends. We have also given her a paper bag (lunch bag size) with shredded paper and toys inside. We also bought an acrylic foraging tower, where she has to pull out three traps doors to get everything out that's inside.
