Actually its not really bleeding, all the blood is under the skin, but he left a pretty good mark...

So Victoria had the brilliant idea it was time for me to ask him to step up... that mark is what he immediately did as soon as his feet hit my arm, and that was thru a really heavy sweatshirt. I've been handing him toys and treats, but apparently stepping up to my arm is not yet part of our relationship...

Hey you have to start at some point....you had worse bites from him at the shelter....though without the sweatshirt a hospital visit probably would have been in order.

Tor was definitely right.... with the sweatshirt we'd probably still be at the ER waiting to see what flesh could be saved!!

Maybe crazy on my part but I still feel sorry for him and what he has experienced in life to make him act this way... I am not angry or upset with him but boy would I love to have a few minutes with any of the people who abused him over the years.... but we will keep taking baby steps, back to offering treats and toys and not getting in his space....
