Pak-O-Bird!

We are still getting acclimated, but he seems pretty chill with it so far. I set up by the couch in place of his usual auxiliary perch with treats inside and he is getting comfortable. I'm not sure what level to put the perch inside--the top level seems too high to get to the water bottle, but I don't want it to be too low.

He doesn't freak out when I zip up the front, and he even rode around the apartment on my back in it and out on the landing for a minute. He made a lot of interested mutters but didn't freak out... when we went out in the sun he did flap around a bunch but he seems mostly calm so far. I think this going to be great!

Great! Pics are always good! ;)

I love mine! It is money well spent. I don't think it's over-priced, when you think about what is included and the cost of a normal cage these days.

Yayyy! That's awesome!

I have one of these on my Christmas Wish List for DeRita. Currently I am using a dog carrier and it works for now...but I think the Pak O Bird will be soo much more versatile! ESPECIALLY when I want to take her in our favorite store and I don't want her pooping down my back! LOL

We do a lot of day hiking too..and I just know this would be soo awesome to bring DeRita along.

Keep us posted on how yours holds up. I've heard great things about them!

Oh and pic's...we (I) LOVE pics! ;)

I would love to get the stroller version, take out the fids for a walk and wait for people to notice my "baby!" :D

I got one recently - all the way to Ireland!! - and it is the best thing; we have taken JellyBean on weekends away - he has come shopping with me; I just put him in there and away we went!! Last weekend, I brought him out to the stables - he could hear all the horses and never freaked... Best bird!!!!
Attached is a picture of JellyBean in his carrier!!

I agree that they are WAY overpriced. Considering how much I paid for Skittles new cage (compared to how much those cages are in stores), I think that for the price, it should be much more durable - but given that there are no alternatives we're stuck with this or nothing.

I'm still planning on getting one for Skittles. But not til next spring.

Looks like there's room enough for Murdock in case they need to brainstorm legal defenses for any conures that cause trouble. Not that that is likely. I mean, conures NEVER cause trouble. Right?

Nice! May you have many happy adventures with your buddy!

Hi. What size is Foggy's PakOBird? It's so much larger than our x-tra small!
