Hello again everyone. I feel like I'm always asking questions!
Currently my tiel has a ton of feathers growing in. There are about 5 feathers on one of her wing that are blood feathers just ready to go. The CAV advised me to not let her fly from high places.
However...she's a bird. She's gonna do that.
She's been getting really spunky lately and if she sees somethign she wants, she'll try to fly to it, but some of her feathers were still clipped so she can't control herself very well.
She does all the tells, staring at hte place, stretching her wings, expelling, but it's so hard to stop her. I'm trying to make sure I don't bring her up high a lot of the time, but that doesn't stop her.
I'm getting really frightened because the CAV said it'll be a few weeks before her feathers are fully grown in. I don't know if my heart can take it for that long.
If there's any advice that can help me stop her temporarily, I'd really appreciate it.
