Apollo the sun conure. Hatched in mid-January.
I had my dog treated for fleas about a week ago with trifexis. A ton of fleas died and fell out of his fur after the first day. Now, I need to flea bomb the house, but I also have my sun conure Apollo. We are going to set the bombs off on a Friday evening, then go to a hotel that will allow our dog and bird. I will wake up early Saturday morning and come back home by myself and open up the house to vent it out from the flea fog. My question has more to do with my sun conure than anything else. After I open up the house to vent, how long before he can return safely?

I don't have experience in this, but a quick google search resulted in an average of 72 hours wait time before you re-introduce your birds. A week will probably be ideal. During the wait time, it would be best to clean everything, run fans blowing out and sucking in air through the whole house.

Some members may be more qualified to answer this. Good luck!

Well not only that but you must remove your birds cage before you bomb either that or your going to have to take it to the car wash to really clean the cage before your bird can live in it again also you know that you need to re-bomb in three days to get the eggs that hatch because the bomb will not effect the eggs.
