First vet visit...

So hey guys, I FINALLY found an avian vet who ISNT on vacation or "away until next week" so I can take Scarlet in for a checkup. She is older (18) and the lady I got her from said she hasnt taken her for about a year. I plan on doing the healthy pet checkup with nail/wing trim but is there anything else I should do as well? My appointment is today at 2 (pacific).
