RIP Mr Biggles White Fronted Amazon , Elsa and Little Nellow the Lutino Budgies, Lady Primrose a Pied Budgie and English Budgies Houdini Popeye and Olive
I had to scrap the idea of a tall flight cage becsuse of little Nellow who cant fly and wont be able to fly at least until her first moult due to the fact she lost her flight feathers. So after much searching I found this cage which is 30 x18x 15 inches and its low sized so that she can climb her way from floor to roof and not be in danger should she fall...Each perch is gauged so she can step on it to the next and also each swing is reachable from a perch. I put a little climbing gem in one side of the cage and added a couple of swings a hanging perch with a stone and a zinc cube and a floor feeder ...there is also a food bar.I have 3 drinking aress in case they cant find the water on their first day in their new home and there is also a food bar ...hopefully they like it...later I might move Primrose to a larger cage but for now Im leaving them together. The space is small for her but hopefully with a lot of out of cage flying time she will be fine.

Mary, what a sweet custom set up for Little Nellow, actually I think any budgie would be quite happy there. I'm sure Primrose doesn't mind the arrangement at all. I think it's great you are leaving the two of them together for now. I just know Little Nellow will fly when she grows her new feathers.

I love your new set up! They both look so content in there, great idea to keep them together:)

Nothing better than a home custom built just for you! They look like they agree :)

How cute Mary! Your budgies sure live in style :). They are all so fortunate to have the best of the best accommodations! Love to see it :D.

Thsnks everyone. They seem to have settled in well and have found everything and have explored all the toys and the food that came with the food bar seemingly went down a treat...the hanging millet has also been attacked all the swings have been tried out and Nellow can get everywhere; up high and down low and most important of all they have located the food bowl and the water and have eaten well incuding a little kale and carrot and celary...tonight will be their first night sleeping in a cage...temp is very warm in Ireland so an ideal night to start them off . Big move and a huge step for these little babies but they seem to be coping pretty well with it all :)

Awesome! So glad they are settling in & enjoying all of the thoughtful design & amenities their new home has to offer :) It's great that they are enjoying the food bar and have found all of their snack bars as well lol

Seriously, it is very obvious how much thought you put into making sure that Nellow would have a smooth, fun, comfortable & safe transition... so admirable! Those are some much loved & very happy budgies.

That's great that Nellow is doing fabulous in his new handicap-friendly home! And that Primrose is enjoying it as well. So nice to hear of the life you've provided for the babies :).

That is one awesome set up! They are lucky birds! :)
