First pedicure - Baxter such a good bird

Baxter has been here a month and his nails are starting to get very sharp, so today was spa day to take the sharp tips off. He was so good. He just layed on his back on my knees as I gently filed each nail, doing "this little piggy" with each toe. He never got upset, tried to get up or made a sound. Just layed there watching me. When we were done he popped right up and let me give him neck scratches and went about his day. Now he is helping catch up on this forum. How adorable is he? He truly is such a joy.

Remember to keep doing the foot massages (or this little piggy) also check his wings while in this position and I also use this position to allow little children to pet his belly with one finger (because his beak is more under my supervision and I can control access to the bird too protect him from excited kids)
