Fingertraps

Has anyone ever used fingertraps for bird toys??? If so, Let's see 'em!!!

I don't use them myself, but I did mention to a friend at the last bird expo I went to how they finally found a use for those silly things when we spotted quite a few incorperated into small to medium bird toys, like everything else out of China, I have to wonder if the material their made from is even close to being bird safe

I agree. You never know what the manufacturers are putting in those things; so it's impossible to determine whether or not it's even safe.

I really don't know what their made of, my guess would be bamboo or some other similar plant, even the ones that aren't painted seem to have some kind of lacquer finish to them :20:

I may get slammed for this, but I bought some at a bird fair and I stick peanuts in them. Paco loves it.
