Rhage(pronounced like rage), my baby B&G, is on his plane to come home. He left Philly's airport around 9:45 and will layover in Detroit before coming to Pittsburgh around 3:30. This will be the first time we will meet face to face!!

He was supposed to come home yesterday but there was an issue with booking on the breeders end. They have also sent him a few pounds of their food so I can transition him over slowly.

Luckily it's supposed to be a warm and wonderful day, with only a few rain showers, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for him!

I have his flight being tracked on my phone and will receive updates as he goes.

He will settle in for a few days before I start working with him on step up.

I just really hope I can ignore him if he cries for me when he gets home. I really don't want to start any bad habits. I coddled my Sun Conure when she first came home and fought tooth and nail over the last year to break her of her separation issues. But she's doing fantastic :)

Please keep your fingers crossed for my baby boy on his journey!:blue1:

I can imagine you standing at the gate, hopping from foot to foot, hands outreached, salivating and mumbling 'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme". And rightly so.

I will :) I'm actually going to record him coming out of the crate and our first meeting. It will be just me and my mother and him. I really want to make sure our first moments together are calm, so in going to try to get all my giddy out on the way to get him lol

I'll let him come out on his own onto the floor with me and let him come over when he's ready. Once I know he's OK I'll pick him up and place him in his cage :) I've got an apple I'll cut up for him as a peace offering lol
