i hate the sun, but the weather was great (for birdies i guess) aaaand it was
time to bathe Klaus again. was at noon, sun felt good, was a tiny bit humid,
and there was a nice warm breeze. it showed how much Klaus loved the
weather as soon as i took him outside, lol. his happiness was shattered by
the water used to bathe him, unfortunately.

still no clue why he hates water.

i love his feathers under the sun. <3

btw, i wear a glove sometimes because his nails are razor sharp and i haven't had time to trim them at
the vet yet! i only wear them when he's gonna be on my hand for an extended period of time.

As always, beautiful photos of Klaus! If you were close to me, I would want you to photograph my birds! You are very talented.

I don't know why Greys aren't fond of water, but it's not just yours. I was told they bathe in little shallow river beds, and that is why they don't like sprayed or showered.

Merlin does at least drink a lot. But, I wish she bathed more than every 3 weeks. She is my dustiest bird but the one who least likes baths. Rowdy takes them every day, and Pete goes into the shower with me a couple of times per week.

Great pictures! I get that look every time papito has to get in the shower with me. He hates water too, but at least he will stand on his shower perch and deal with some humidity and spray so he's not such a dirty bird.

omg i know how that feels. klaus hadn't had a bath in a long time so he was
killing me recently everytime he was with me. i didn't really mind though. <3
