Female pair or male/female?

I'm back with more pics! My kids gave Cindy and Poochi the middle names Peanut and Chicken, and I'm going to use them as their primary names since I'm not fond of the ones they came with. I've been reading about the different budgie variations and I think Peanut is a normal green female (not sure how to determine which shade of green), and Chicken is a clearwing dilute...male? I'm really not sure about Chicken - can anyone tell from these pics? I particularly want to know if Chicken is male so I can make sure to discourage breeding. Behaviorally, Chicken is more vocal and so far is the braver of the two.

The seem to be adjusting well. They aren't as loud as I expected. They chatter, but the volume is lower than some budgies. It reminds me of a babbling brook or a fountain. I have been letting my hand rest on the outside of the cage and they are getting used to that. They are on the dining table for now, and last night they ate when the family ate. Today they let me put my phone just inside the cage for pics without getting upset.

chicken is most definitely a male based on cere color

Peanut is female, and the other is male, and what a beauty!

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised how pretty they both are. I agreed to take them sight unseen, so they were a surprise. But I think the previous owner thought they were both female.

So to discourage breeding, no nest box, and limit daylight hours, right? Anything else? I forgot to say in the post that I saw Peanut regurgitating for Chicken yesterday.
