Female exhibiting Male matin rituals

Hello,

I have two Female (so im told)lovebirds, one has orange (Pumpkin) on her head and the other red (Peaches). Peaches is constantly bugging Pumpkin like biting her feet her neck, then regurgitating to feed pumpkin, trying to mount her, and grooming her. Do female lovebirds do that behavior or is Peaches a male?

Hmmm, I'm an Amazon Snob, so not an expert regarding Love Birds. That said, it sounds like you have a male and a female. May want to separate them, just incase.

With hope, someone with far more Love Bird experience than me will spot this Thread and provide more detail... But as stated above, if it was me, I would separate those two!

I hope that this small bump will get this Thread back up into the active part of the Forum...
