I've gotten a cockatiel for my birthday a few years ago (Female, age unknown).
The thing is, she shows aggressive towards everyone: ever since she popped up.
Its impossible to pet her, she screeches randomly, lunges when trying to bite.. our household cat isn't even all that interested, which just makes it more suspicious. She is isolated from any other wild birds (which apparently stresses cockatiels).
She has never been even mentioned to have trauma of sorts..
The poor thing is starting to "shed" some of its fur/feathers; I'm worried it doesn't have much time. Every. EVERY time I try to talk with her, she either goes silent or just screeches.
