Alexandrine
I have a female alexandrine who is 2 years old. We recently noticed how feathers around her neck are turning dark, dull and very less. Any suggestions on how should i stop the further dullness.

To me, she appears to be plucking out feathers from her neck.
In the first picture, it also looks like some bronzing is maybe going on too.

How long has this been going on?
I’d recommend taking her to an avian vet to get blood work done.

Further prevention of feather destruction is important also.
Give her tons of toys to destroy, best she destroy those rather than herself.
What’s her diet like also?

Her diet has mainly sunflower seeds the big ones and corn, sometimes they are given boiled rice as she loves eating it. She has discoloration around her entire neck. We give them ice cream sticks to break...if u can then please suggest what kind of toys should i get for her.

I would strongly recommend changing her diet to something less fatty and with more variety.
That could be part of the reason her feathers look this way.
Do you have and seed mixes with several different seed types available to you? Or pellets?
I also recommend giving her vegetables and fruit.

For toys, I recommend soft woods like balsa, yucca, pine, popsicles sticks, or cork. Any other bird safe wood is good too.
You can also give her things you may have in your house.
Pieces of cardboard, toilet paper and paper towel rolls, printer paper and old books work great too.
